Sindy Outward Bound by Pedigree 1985

| Sindy, first appeared in 1975 as Britain's
belated response to Barbie. Sindy has a sweet, young, conventionally pretty face and is,
in my opinion, more appealing than Barbie. If her Outward Bound set is typical, Sindy's
clothing and accessories were of higher quality than those of her American conterparts. In Outward Bound, Sindy is ready for action in her wool knit sweater with matching cap, corduroy trousers, padded vest, and practical red boots. Her camera is exceptionally detailed though I can't tell whether it's metal or plastic without ruining the package. Sindy looks like she's dressed warmly and comfortably enough for a National Geographic winter photo shoot up north. Let's hope she gets the shot! |
