| This 1977 photo studio consists
of a vinyl covered box which cleverly folds out into two rooms. The graphics on one side
depict a dressing room and on the other, the studio with lights and cameras. The
accompanying accessories include jars of cosmetics, comb and brush, mirror, hair dryers,
and cameras--all in Barbie pink.One of the cameras has a sizeable telephoto
lens, making it the most impressive Barbie camera Mattel ever manufactured. Mattel marketed a more detailed Barbie photo studio in 1989. It included a camera on a tripod and studio lights with umbrellas. However the picture on the box showed Barbie modeling and Ken as the photographer. Therefore, I will not include that studio here. |
