Tuck's Camera Postcards

The English publishing company of Rafael Tuck & Sons printed some of the highest quality cards from the early 1900's until 1920. Hundreds of thousands of their cards were exported to the U.S. and Europe. The cards were popular with collectors then and still are today.

Often four or six cards with a similar theme were printed as a set. This birthday postcard is identified as, "Rapholette Series 8058 In the Woods" The woman has lugged her cumbersome camera along on a family outing to record the day.

This card is from the "Oilette Remarque Series II 9314 Letters from the Seaside." It's postmarked 1914.
This Oilette entitled "Life in London" is postcard # 6472, postmarked in 1905.
