This unusual,
double-exposed, tinted, photo postcard was mailed from Chicago, Illinois
to Bertha in Macon City, Iowa on February 15, 1909 by Pearl who wrote: " My dear Secretary, Just to let you know I haven't forgotten you. Do you recognize the young lady here, if not it is your honorable president that was. This was taken a month ago but just had them finished. I hope you are well and happy, will write soon. Chicago is celebrating Lincoln today in great style. Wish you were here. Love, Pearl" |

In this double exposed
card the same group of people has changed their appearance by removing
a coat and hat (on grass at rear) for the left exposure where the woman,
obviously not the real photographer, is holding a camera as a prop.
