| Mack Sennet, known as the
King of Comedy, founded Keystone Studios where he filmed the Keystone
Kops series and many other comedies with stars such as Charlie Chaplin,
Buster Keaton, and W.C. Fields. This photo may be a film still from a
scene in a movie, or perhaps a picture of a female film still photographer,
or maybe just a model or actress posing with an oversize camera. Your
guess is as good as mine. The photo is copyrighted Mack Sennet Comedies but since the studio no longer exists and Mack died in 1960, I think it's permissable to use it here. |
