De Graaf of Okracoke Island, North Carolina, has collected lantern slides
for years and now has several thousand with examples dating back to the
mid-1800's. Included in his collection are these four examples of Kodak
advertising slides, all with women photographers. They were projected in
movie theaters in the 20's. Update: We were able to make a good lantern slide trade and these now are in the Kodakgirl Collection! |
