These three extraordinary black and white cards were emailed to me by Sylvie, a Japanese-French woman living in Laos who had logged onto this website. She came across the images in a book called "The King and Camera, Evolution of Photography in Thailand 1845-1992" by Professor Sakda Siripant. Professor Siripant has kindly given me permission to reproduce the photos here. The captions underneath each are from his book. |
