In this episode, in the #4 Spring 1945
issue Linda, a "topnotch camerawoman for feature magazines"
travels on assignment to South America to shoot a festival. She winds
up covering a revolution instead. She's wearing an evening dress in
this frame because she was dining out when the news of the revolution
broke. Luckily she had the foresight to carry her camera in her purse
so was able to leap on a horse and gallop to the action. She gets the
shot and her editor is ecstatic.
Kudos to U.S. Camera Publishing Corporation
of Chicago for giving us Linda who may be the first and only female
action adventure photographer ever. WHATTA GIRL!!
